A method of calculating elastic curve for semiflexible plate wind tunnel nozzle has been presented, based on the linear theory of small deflection of beam deformation, in this paper.

The thrust characteristics of axis symmetry nozzle were mainly measured in test. For the nozzle having a vectoring angle, the deflection efficiency was measured too.
For commercial applications, CIJ printers with one nozzle, or a linear array of identical nozzles with a fixed pitch, are used. In both cases, the deflection field is kept constant.
