Objective: to evaluate the use of centrifugal pump to assistcirculation during routine and emergency cardiopulmonary bypass.

Normal CPB were per formed afterwards to assistcirculation, hyperbaric oxygenation, sedative and large dosage corticoid therapy were used postoperatively.
