Attacking revelers in the Mansour district of western Baghdad, a suicide car bomber killed at least 30 people and wounded 75, an Iraqi Interior Ministry official said.

In the meantime, at least two people were killed and as many as 13 wounded early Tuesday when, for the second time in as many days, a suicide car bomber attacked a security checkpoint in Baghdad.

The bomber tried to drive the Neva car into the building's courtyard but was rammed by a police UAZ before detonating the explosives, which were equivalent to 50 to 100 kilograms of TNT.
