In the fracture study of softening materials, the damage area of crack tip is regarded as a piece of nonlinear crack with cohesive force.

On the basis of piece-wise-linear plasticity and fracture mechanics, this article presented a 2-dimensional holonomic and nonholonomic constitutive model for cohesive crack of concrete-like materials.

Based on the smeared cracking theory, a brittle fracture model for tensile state of compacted cohesive soil is proposed.
