The paper describes the computation method of seam gas pressure in the research on gas and coaloutburst in Germany. Analysis and comparison are made on the obtained results.
The deformation value of coal body can be served as a criterion for predicting the risk of coaloutburst, as well as an assessment of the effect of degassing measures in coal seams.
