In this paper, the performance of Pegasus is analyzed from the fellowing respects: air launching, configuration, auxiliary propulsion system and lifting capability.

The paper presents the design of main propulsion system for ocean-going salvage tug, also the adoption of the auxiliary machinery, shaft-driven pumps and shaft-driven generators.

With scrupulous amendment and perfection, it can be taken as auxiliary teaching software in such courses as "Marine propulsion system" and "Marine automation".
