In this paper, the existent problems in teaching of building mechanics for architectural speciality are analyzed, the thinking and practice on teaching reform of building mechanics are introduced.
By making structural models, the paper reveals the relation between architectural art and logic of structural mechanics, and shows the effect of structural system on architectural space.
