This review describes the properties of Nankai D72 ion exchange resin, and its application in the water treatment, biochemistry, catalyticreaction and waste treatment containing heavy metals.
The catalysts obtained from microwave heating method had higher catalytic activity for hydrogen-water liquid exchangereaction than those for the impregnation-reduction method.

The catalytic hydroxyethylation of liquid ammonia by cation exchange resin was studied and the reaction mechanism was discussed. According to the experimental data, the kinetic equation was deduced.
