Using lead benzoxy as curing agent, cured epoxy resin was analyzed by means of IR spectrum and DSC curves. Lead benzoxy was considered to be catalytic curing agent.

Their catalytic activities to the curing reaction of NEPE and HTPB solid propellants were studied by thermal analysis methods, formulation process research and performance test of propellants.

The results showed that CTBN had catalytic action on the curing behavior of DCPDCE.
