In-situ colloidal forming of ceramics is the most promising method in making the near-net-shape and complicated ceramics, to which silica and alumina sol have been widely applied.
Typical results from these tests show that filtration of newer ceria and alumina, and historic silica CMP slurries is beneficial in managing large particles.
