Objective To evaluate the safety and clinical value of regional citrate anticoagulation (RCA) to continuous venovenoushemofiltration (CVVH) for patients with a high risk of bleeding.
Methods 14 elderly patients with hemorrhagic fever with severe renal syndromes were treated by continuous blood purification with continuous venovenoushemofiltration-dialysis or only hemodialysis.
