Internally in the studio we have repeated the random width vertical cladding on the outside, though this time it is planed and treated with a lye and a wax finish to maintain its' colour.

When you want to finish a letter or a book you roll up the scroll and then you put a wax seal at the end of the roll and that seals the book.

If you remove it before it has set-up, you will risk removing too much of the wax from the surface and thus leave less than engineered to remain behind on the finish.
