A wind turbine aerodynamics simulation module based on non-linear vortex-line theory is tested in the numerical aspect in this paper.

Based on the research of wind turbine aerodynamics characteristics, a model was established and the theoretical foundation of pitch control was built.

First, wind turbine aerodynamics and variable pitch control process was discussed to provide theoretical studying basis for studying of the system design and control strategy.
