For the third consecutive month, USDA did not increase its soybean yieldforecast, instead trimming that yield by 0.0067 tonnes per hectare to 2.77 tonnes per hectare.
At this juncture, USDA's yieldforecast appears to be very conservative relative to the weather that has been experienced, crop ratings for the crop and yield indications from recent industry surveys.
The authors advance a way to forecast the yield increment according to the recovery curve of water level and character of cranny in the carbonate aquifer, which is different from conventional methods.
