A transaction is a unit of activity within which multiple operations on data can be made atomic (indivisible), such that exactly all or none of the actions are made permanent.

This measures the electrical activity of the wearer's brain, in much the same way as some machines used for medical and research proposes, and communicates wirelessly with a clock unit near the bed.

This technique works fine if you have a single database maintenance activity within the logical unit of work (LUW).
