Generally, such gas reservoir rock is in the uncompacted state, and their variation with pressure and petrophysical parameters is very different than normal pressure gas reservoir system.

Predictions have been made and compared with experimental data pertaining to the centerline velocity decay and wall static-state pressure variation.

Fig. 5 shows the variation of the system specific irreversibility using R113 with the turbine inlet pressure under the same conditions used to generate the results shown in Fig. 3.
