Clearly many other kinds of services could be defined and integrated into the middleware, and then combined with each other to provide value-add processes usable from within the game environment.

They're like halfway between a demo and the full game, but obviously you get a little bit more value out of it than you would a demo.

If, at a later date, you decide to change the size of your game window (and you very well might), being able to change the value in this one spot will save you time twice.
