Vacuum extraction system of extraction performance affects behavior of degassing , decarburization, denitriding and so on in RH_KTB refining process.

The effects on RH decarburization of several parameters including lift gas flow rate, vacuum pressure reduction curves, KTB starting time and initial carbon and oxygen content are investigated.

A new dynamic mathematical model to represent the processes of decarburization and degassing in RH vacuum refining units were developed.
