Transverse stimulated Brillouin scattering (TSBS) in large optics has been paid more and more attention in recent years with the gradual improvement of laser's energy density and power.

Based on the assuming of the arc temperature distribution and the investigation of the energy balance in the arc, a simplified model of the dynamic arc in transverse magnetic field is proposed.

The long pulse electron beam system reported here was constructed for transverse pumping and e-beam sustained discharge large energy gas laser.
