The World Court is the only global judicial body.

In 1962 the World Court ruled that Preah Vihear, which sits on a ridge, was on Cambodian soil. But it did not rule on overlapping claims to the temple's hinterland.

He does not mourn the demise of that world liberated from court etiquette, he says, he can call someone an "idiot" if he wants, instead of "Your Excellency".
