Normally when patients undergo corrective laser eye surgery, surgeons use video cameras to track the position of the eye so that the surgical laser targets the right place on the cornea.

A video released by the FBI Monday shows a then 24-year-old St. Louis man shining a laser at a police helicopter last year — and cops arresting him minutes later.

They use a system of video cameras, radar sensors and laser range-finders to detect other vehicles, while following a pre-set route mapped out by drivers in ordinary cars.
