When children are teased or tyrannized, the parental impulse is to grab the phone and rant.

Lord, we don't want to be ignorant of the present or tyrannized by it, as if nothing else mattered.

That is when I began to realize that I had been tyrannized by the idea that everyone must always have a positive attitude.
