The first station is expected to be installed off Lynmouth in Devon shortly to test the technology in a venture jointly funded by the Department of Trade and Industry and the European Union.

Candidates who are invited for the trade test will normally receive the invitation (by email or by post) in about six to eight weeks after the closing date for application.

In these circumstances, only shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend the trade test and the subsequent selection interview.
