Based on column experiments, we investigated the potential using sulfate reducing bacteria(SRB) and zero-valent iron(ZVI) to synergetic treat contamination in wastewater such as sulfate, uranium, etc.

Nitrate of low concentration can interfere with adsorption of uranyl sulfate anion on anion-exchange resins because the anion-exchange resins have a stronger affinity for nitrate in uranium solution.
