A method to accomplish rendezvous by using laser searching and tracking technology is presented in this paper, and it is characteristic of radar, navigation and communication.

Abstract: in this article a new laser-radar ranging equation is deduced. This equation takes into consideration the tracking jitter of a telescope and the beam jitter caused by atmosphere turbulence.
