X ray pattern of Cl element in the HBP/PP/PVC and PP/PVC blends were detected and vantage software was applied to calculate the average diameter and to make statistics of particle distribution.

Conclusions: X ray diffraction Fourier pattern analysis is a feasible method for the identification of Compound Chinese traditional medicine preparation.
