Structure and the working process of a remote control vehicle for target towing were presented. Methods of control in automatic gear shifting and engine speed modulation were described.

This paper presents a calculating method based on the hull-engine-prop relations, apply capability curve of prop to determine the maximum speed of towing vessel.
