In order to ensure the large focal length (telescopic regime survey), the optical system, built according to the principle of the multiple internal reflection (see figure) is used.

In this paper the prism turning theorem is expanded to apply to telescopic system, and a new method of analysis and design for stabilized optical imaging systems is proposed.
