Advanced Search lets you type in a Top Level domain (like.co.uk) in the "Search within site of domain" box to restrict results.

Unfortunately, most global Web sites name every page on their sites with the ".com" top-level domain.

The name server checks its database and cache, doesn't find anything, and sends an iterative request to a root server for the .com top-level domain.
