Properties can be used to change the behavior of a component at run time without making code changes.

To change any "component" of the date or time, click on it with the mouse to highlight it, then use the up and down arrow keys on the keyboard to increase or decrease the value.

You can set property and event values two different ways: specify them in the component class or change them at design time.
