Methods Since 1996, 388 patients complicated with gastrointestinal fistulas were treated, 84 patients received spontaneousclosure therapy, 35 patients received early resection of fistulas.
ConclusionSimple echocardiographic parameters are capable of prediction of spontaneousclosure of PDA in neonates and infants, and may help to decide whether early intervention is necessary.
