GPS-RTK bathymetric survey technique without tidal observation was successfully applied in Yangtze Estuary Channel Regulation Project for monitoring of river regime near leading jetty.

Based on the morphological characteristics of riverbed of tidal estuaries, a calculation formula for the widening rate of the estuarine regulation line is derived.
