Dr Katharine Giles was cycling to work at University College London (UCL) when she was involved in a collision with a tipper truck in Victoria on Monday.

The marine, who is currently based with 42 Commando at Bickleigh Barracks in Plymouth, pleaded not guilty to taking a Ford Transit tipper truck without the authority of its owner and aggravated vehicle taking.
