Objective: to document the surgical technique and usefulness of computer-assisted surgery for spinal osteotomy.

Results: 3d spinal osteotomy under the guidance of a computer-assisted navigation system was performed successfully in 4 patients.

Methods Various operation types were used to treat 26 cases of kyphosis respectively, including V shaped or transpedicle spinal osteotomy, subtotal or total spinal osteotomy.
