Relationship between grain size of total suspended solids (TSS) and particulate organic carbon (POC) content is the base of studying POC transportation and flux in river.

The study examined the total contents of soil organic carbon and the content of soil active organic carbon and stable organic carbon in farmland, grassland, scrub and forest ecosystems.

The biggest influence to soil organic carbon density was organic carbon content, the next was total nitrogen, and content of soil available phosphorus was also influenced soil organic carbon density.
