The influence of solidity and aspect ratio on powercoefficient of H-type vertical axis wind turbine, and the change of attack Angle with tip speed ratio were analyzed.
The results show, for pitch-controlled wind turbines, that powercoefficient is higher, and load is lower at high wind speed.
