With the related analysis between the urbanization and the employment, this paper put forward the reason caused high unemployment ratio in urban and rural is low urbanization ratio in our country.

This paper USES the data from China Household Income Project (CHIP, 2002) to study the relationship between the ratio of rural non-agricultural labor and rural-urban migration.
