The Egg is made of yellow gold, platinum, brilliant diamonds, rose-cut diamonds, ruby, emerald, topaz, sapphire, garnet, half-pearls, moonstone, white enamel and opaque pink enamel.
As a luster is given off by the enamels, some resembling coral, rose stone, ruby or sapphire, the product acquires jewel-like brilliance after being gilded.
