The theoretical model was established in detail, the properties of rotation and shift were theoretically and practically analyzed to conclude its shift invariant speciality.

Experimental results show that the algorithm has an invariant property with respect to the shift, scale and rotation of the moving target in the continuing detection of moving targets.

By this filter, the shift, scale and rotation invariant optical pattern recognition was realized with a high signal noise ratio of correlation output.
