Its scabbard (the sheath for holding the blade) is fashioned with round gold plaques, each decorated with turquoise, rubies, emeralds and diamonds.

The locking mechanism is made up of an inner hole sleeve inside which multiple round leaf blades and round spacers are reciprocally spaced and kinetically sheathed in the blade cases.
