The design and manufacture of planar slotted array antenna have been widely interested for its high gain, low sidelobe, compact size, and light weight which can meet requirements of radar system.

This paper briefs the structural design of common slotted waveguide array antenna and presents several key factors which should be considered during structural design of this antenna.
