She graduated from Harvard Law School in 1988 and was hired by the blue chip law firm Sidley &Austin in Chicago, where she specialized in marketing and intellectual property law.

Sidley Wright used a few of the remaining Pixar Image computers, which had larger dynamic range (-.5 to 1.5) and this and some of the terms used by Pixar influenced Nuke's design.
