The axial flow in a pipe of the fractional generalized second order fluid is studied.

The second order perturbation solution for the flow of power-law fluid in stillness a helical pipe is obtained with curvature and torsion as small parameter.

The results show that, the velocity and instantaneous flow rate distribution of second order fluid with variable coefficients differ greatly from the ones of the power-law fluid;
