The living example show that the technology of deeper fragmenting surrounding rock tunnel repairing by bolting and shotcrete lining is very effective.

Wet shotcrete, including wet steel fiber shotcrete and wet plain shotcrete, has been adopted for the temporary and permanent lining of Qinling Railway Tunnel and good results have been obtained.

Many site tests have also proved that the strength of anchor and shotcrete support is much greater than that of conventional in situ concrete lining.
