The demand for modelling the gas-solid two-phase flow in smoke flue is ever-increasing. However, the present-day modelling approaches are far from satisfactory.

NO in the smoke can be oxidized to NO2 with the use of DC corona discharge, the air conditions are studied and the influences of flue gas condition and moisture on oxidant effect are simulated.
