The results as following:The morphology of the solidified blast furnace slagbearing RE elements was studied by means of SEM observation with the help of EDX qualitative analysis and XRD analysis.
Controlling intensity and time of argon blowing, increasing slag basicity and adopting complex deoxidiser are helpful to reducing the oxygen content in bearing steels.

The results showed that the defects on the inner ring of the bearing are hair-cracking causing by serious impurities or slag enclosures, these are metallurgy defects.
