A new agency, the Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization, has launched a five-year project to improve safety standards for the machines.

Manufacturing and selling of industrial products that do not conform to the standards and requirements for ensuring human health, personal safety and safety of property are prohibited.

Article 29 Safety equipment shall be designed, manufactured, installed, used, tested, maintained, renovated and abandoned in compliance with the national standards or industrial specifications.
