In the past week or so, Japanese individuals have significantly increased foreign exchange margin trading to buy dollars and sell yen to take advantage of the interest rate differentials.

The company says the use of lidar can reduce the error margin by several percentage points, which in turn increases a project’s internal rate of return by around one percentage point.

The contraction in their net interest margin, the gap between their cost of funds and the rate at which they deploy them, underscores a larger problem in the American economy.
