The radial piston pump can adopt manual-control or electro-hydraulic proportional control to realize the control of constant flow, constant pressure, constant power and load sensitivity etc.

The common gear pump has such merits as simple structure, low cost, insensitive oil pollution, etc. but it has such demerits as high flow pulsation, unbalanced radial force, strong noise, etc.

In the second order, radial basis function neural network was applied to estimate the flow rate of the pump at different rotational speed of the blood pump.
