This implicitly indicates that in OCT, the axial resolution is de-coupled from the transverse resolution, which is dependent on the sample arm imaging optics.

The concept of transverse polarization filtering is presented under the high resolution radar system. Radar signal detection is studied via this concept. Detection results are satisfactory.

Numerical results show that this new kind of pupil filters can realize not only axial superresolution, but also not influence transverse resolution.
